The Alliance of Boston Neighborhoods (ABN) releases the final draft version of their White Paper on planning/zoning.

Many ARCA members and other Brighton and Boston residents are very concerned that Boston's planning and zoning ordinances are often undermined by the current process for review of variance applications. The Early Action Item (EAI) will be presented at a public hearing before the Public Improvement Commission. The proposed project is a symbolic gateway to Cassidy Park consisting of a carpet of ornamental brick pavement flanked by granite bollards and landscaping, to be constructed near the corner of Beacon Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue.
